Our Programs
We partner with parents to enhance your child's learning experience while keeping you in the role of primary educator. Our approach is built on community, academic rigor, and supportive guidance.
Why Choose OCCLC?
Christ-Centered Education
Faith is integrated into every aspect of the learning experience, starting with our daily Chapel.
Supportive Community
Connect with like-minded families and access dedicated, trained teachers.
Two-Day-a-Week Classes
Ideal structure to enhance core subjects while preserving time for at-home learning and family life.
Our Academic Partnership (K–8th Grade)
We offer focused instruction in Bible, English Language Arts (ELA), and Mathematics.
Curriculum & Shared Responsibility
To foster maximum growth, OCCLC utilizes a shared learning model with the parents:
-
Core Curriculum: We use The Good and the Beautiful curriculum for both English Language Arts and Math.
-
Parent-Teacher Split: Teachers at the Learning Center cover the even-numbered lessons. Parents are responsible for guiding students through the odd-numbered lessons at home.
Level-Based Placement: Personalized Learning
A key difference at OCCLC is our placement process. Students are placed into classes based on their academic level, not their age or grade level.
This approach helps accelerate progress for students with learning gaps and ensures advanced students are not held back.
All new students receive an Academic Assessment to determine their optimal learning level in Reading, Writing, and Math.
